Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
William F. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. As the company's chief legal officer, Mr. Brown is responsible for overseeing and supporting all legal matters, Board of Director activities, SEC matters, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, contract negotiations and regulatory compliance. With over 24 years of experience, Mr. Brown began his career as a Staff Attorney with PHH Vehicle Management Services (now PHH Arval) and took on positions of increasing responsibility, including new client contract negotiations, litigation and providing legal support to the equipment leasing division. Mr. Brown then served as Counsel for PHH Corporation, provided legal support to all of the PHH subsidiaries including transactional support for secondary market transactions. He was later named Vice President, General Counsel at PHH Mortgage and then promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel. Mr. Brown earned his JD from the University of Maryland School of Law, and his BA from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Corporate Counsel Association and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR).
